BoxCast: You started streaming last year. Why did you decide to start? 

Ryan Vinz: Hockey tournaments are happening all over the world. To distinguish ourselves, we wanted anyone who comes in contact with HARBORCENTER to have the best experience possible. So, we decided early-on in our planning that we would stream every tournament game, allowing everyone, even those who couldn't be there, to watch.

BoxCast: When you looked at other streaming providers, what made BoxCast stand out? 

RV: I really wanted to find a streaming service that would fit our needs. I looked at a few others before someone put me in touch with BoxCast. Immediately, I was very impressed. BoxCast stood out because of the quality, ease of use (on both the hardware and software sides), ability to overlay the score directly from our scoreboard, and price. Choosing BoxCast was really a no-brainer.

BoxCast: How do you use your BoxCaster? What do you like most about it? 

RV: Set-up is the same every weekend and only takes about a minute. We schedule all our weekend events during the week and embed it within each game page on the tournament website. I've tried other setups in the past and nothing compares to a device that fits in my pocket.

BoxCast: How have your viewers reacted?

RV: Every weekend, I receive numerous emails saying nothing but positive feedback on how great the quality is and how amazing it is that grandparents, aunts and uncles, and parents can watch these kids when they're not there. 

BoxCast: Are there any additional features you hope to see in BoxCast's future? 

RV: We'd love to see more robust reporting features on viewership. Our numbers are growing on a weekly basis and it would be great to be able to export that data and share it with others in the company. Also, I'd like to be able to tag certain events with labels in order to put the code snippets up on the tournament page for just that event. 

BoxCast: Anything else you'd like to add? 

RV: You guys have been great to work with. The support team has been amazing - if there are ever any issues, they're on top of it before I can even react! They've done everything in their power to make sure things go off without a hitch, undoubtedly leading to the success we've had with BoxCast. We couldn't be happier with our decision to choose BoxCast as our streaming provider.
