Clearspace

In order to preserve the integrity of our logo it is important that no other logos, type, or elements infringe on its space. The minimum amount of clear space, or space around the logo, is equal to half of the height of the O.

Co-Branding

Alignment of co-brands or partnership logos should follow clearspace rules. A separating line should be used to help balance and optically align elements. If logo colors clash or vibrate in full-color mode, consider using monochromatic or one-color versions of logos.

DO use the BoxCast Blue logo on a light background

DO use the black logo on a light background

DO use the white logo on a simple gradient background

DON'T use the logo in unapproved colors

DON'T rotated the logo

DON'T use the logo at transparency lower than 100%

DON'T apply any outlines or effects to the logo

DON'T outline the "O" in the logo

DON'T use the logo over busy photo background

We follow the Chicago Manual of Style and Merriam-Webster, unless the word/phrase is BoxCast or industry specific.

Writing About BoxCast

Our company’s legal entity name is BoxCast, Inc. Our trade name is BoxCast. Use BoxCast, Inc. only when writing legal documents or contracts. Otherwise, use BoxCast.

Always Captialize the B and C in BoxCast.

Taglines

"Powered by Boxcast" is appropriate if our technology supports a product or service.

"Backed by BoxCast" should be used if our technoloogy is not being used. Example: sponsorships

Our Products

On our own website, blog, and newsletter, we usually skip putting "BoxCast" in front of product and encoder names — since you're already on our site, it goes without saying! If you’re a reseller, partner, or guest writer, feel free to add "BoxCast" wherever it helps give your readers clear context.
