We’ve all heard it before: “There’s an app for that.”
The Broadcaster app is a streaming app that broadcasts live audio and video of your events right from your phone. All you need is an iOS device and a data connection. Broadcaster is simply the next step BoxCast has taken to make your live video streaming experience as easy as possible.
If you’re new to the app, this post explains four ways to use it.
In addition to letting users stream from their phones, Broadcaster lets BoxCast customers schedule and manage all of their broadcasts right from their iOS devices. You’ll never need your computer.
The Broadcaster app lets you stream anywhere as long as you have data. There’s no need to connect to a hardline or check firewall configurations. Though we always recommend using a hardline when it’s available, the Broadcaster app is a wonderful option for remote locations, like baseball fields, cross country courses, rugby pitches, and more.
Most schools happily provide fans with home-game footage but leave them wanting more when it comes to away games. Setting up a live video feed can require some prep work that may not be possible, depending on your opponent’s turf. If your team is on the move, use Broadcaster to broadcast what’s going on in real-time.
Many athletic programs schedule various games at the same time. In situations where there is only one BoxCaster on campus, the Broadcaster app ensures that you no longer have to choose which team to stream.
Sports give rise to unforgettable moments that people will treasure forever. Broadcaster simply provides you with another way to share those moments with as many people as possible.
