Meet the Team: Q+A with Gary Buchanan
This month, we'd like you to meet BoxCast Community Manager Gary Buchanan. Gary helps produce content that's not only helpful to our customers, but also beneficial to the live streaming community as a whole. You might recognize him as one of the hosts of The BoxCast Podcast or as one of the leaders behind the Live Streaming for Churches Facebook group.
Q: How long have you been working in the live streaming industry, Gary?
A: I've been with BoxCast for 5 years, and have been streaming and doing church production for over 15. I've been streaming since the iPhone was only on their second model, way back in 2008.
Q: What's the nerdiest thing you do in your spare time?
A: I make custom lightsaber hilts with my 3D printer.
Q: If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
A: Rigatoni with meat sauce and spicy Italian sausage!
Q: Can you describe your perfect day?
A: My perfect day would be walking around Galaxy’s Edge at Disney, eating every treat and food item, taking part in every activity, and meeting my favorite characters. Then I'd enjoy some pool time with my daughter and wife while being spoiled by the hotel staff!

We've had some reports recently about scammers posting links to fake streams in Facebook comments. They can look pretty convincing — some even use the name BoxCast in the urls. Remind your viewers to only click links posted from your official account!
